Watch: PM Modi mingles with Mumbai children aboard brand new Vande Bharat train

The inauguration of the two Vande Bharat trains by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj terminus was special not only for people of the city but many others too. The two trains signify confluence of faith and progress and will run between Mumbai and Solapur and Mumbai and Sainagar Shirdi.

Before flagging off the trains, PM Modi entered one of the compartments and met school children. One of them, a girl, recited a poem which the PM enjoyed and applauded along with others.

Commuters travelling in the two new Vande Bharat and Mumbaikars were mighty thrilled with the advanced versions of Vande Bharat. They celebrated the occasion with full gusto and joy.

The Solapur train is the ninth Vande Bharat while the other one is the 10th.
