Watch: Plumes of thick smoke spiralling from Mumbai’s 5-star Trident Hotel

Video shows plumes of thick black smoke emanating from the five-star Trident Hotel building at Nariman Point in Mumbai this morning. According to reports, the incident took place around 7 am.

There were fears that there was a fire at the hotel that stands next to the high-rise Air India building on the city’s famous Marine Drive.

However, Mumbai Police said that there was no fire in the building and the smoke was coming from the boiler room of the hotel.
