In a feat of superb power-hitting, Nicholas Pooran smashed three consecutive sixes to help Lucknow Super Giants defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad in an Indian Premier League match on Saturday.
Backed by another two sixes from Marcus Stoinis, LSG were able to successfully chase a difficult target of 183 on a slowing pitch at Lucknow with four balls to spare.
Pooran was 44 not out off 13 balls. Stoinis finished with 40 off 25 balls while Prerak Mankad the other big scorer for LSG was 64 not out in 45 balls.
LSG now have 13 points from 12 games and are in fourth place behind Gujarat Titans (16 points), CSK (15 points) and Mumbai Indians (14 points).
