In a bizarre incident, New Zealand’s in-form all-rounder Daryl Mitchell hit a massive six over the long-on boundary on Day 1 of the ongoing second Test against England and the ball landed directly in the mug of beer a lady spectator was sipping in the stands!
The video was shared by the England Cricket Board on their official Instagram handle.
"New drink please," was the humorous caption that ECB gave the post.
The video shows England pacer Matthew Potts, who was fielding at long-on, gesturing to teammates that the ball had landed in someone's beer.
England cricket team's Barmy Army supporters later revealed that New Zealand had provided the spectator, Susan, with a fresh pint of beer!
