WATCH: Neeraj Chopra’s silver-winning throw at the World Athletics Championships in USA

Grenada's Anderson Peters won the gold medal with a best throw of 90.54 metres. Czech Republic's Jakub Vadlejch won the bronze with a best throw of 88.09 metres, while Germany's Julian Weber finished 4th with a best attempt of 86.86 metres.</p>

Neeraj Chopra is only the second Indian to win a medal at the World Championships after Anju Bobby George who won the long jump bronze in 2003. Chopra achieved the historic feat just a year after winning an Olympic gold medal.</p>
