Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra met and bowed down to young India stars who put up a terrific display in the final against England to emerge as the first-ever winners at the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup in South Africa on Sunday.
Chopra watched the summit clash from the stands in Potchefstroom as the women in blue scripted history.
A video posted by International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday showed the star javelin thrower walking to the middle and bowing to the Indian players as they celebrated the triumph.
