Watch: MS Dhoni requests fans to guide him onto the right road to Ranchi

A video showing cricket great MS Dhoni requesting fans to guide him onto the right road to take him home to Ranchi has gone viral on social media.

Dhoni is sitting on the front seat with his friend who is driving the car and as they are confused over which road to take, they decide to stop and ask the fans for the directions. His simplicity and humility has touched Netizens.

“Ek gol chakkar aayega uske baad aap Ranchi ki taraf chale jaiye (You can proceed towards Ranchi after one of round abouts),” a fan tells Dhoni.

“Kaunsa, vo second murti waala gol chakkar (Are you talking about the round about near the second statue?),” Dhoni asked the fan with a local accent.

Dhoni allows the fans to click a video and warmly shakes hands before driving on.

The star wicketkeeper batter had led Chennai Super Kings to a record-equalling 5th IPL championship trophy this year after defeating Gujarat Titans in the final. Dhoni had a courageously taken a knee injury in his stride to take his team to victory and subsequently underwent a surgery in Mumbai to fix the problem.
