27-year-old Mirabai Chanu won India’s first gold medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in the women's 49 kg category final on Saturday with a final lift of 109 kg that put her way ahead of her rivals.

This is the second time she has clinched the gold after having won at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
The Tokyo Olympics silver medallist appeared to be quite confident as the video clip shows her making the final clean and jerk lift of 109 kg without a fuss.
