A video of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy criticising Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor for her snobbish behaviour during a flight from London has gone viral on social media.
The video is an old one recorded at IIT-Kanpur in which Mr Murthy says that he was surprised to see Kareena completely ignore some co-passengers fans who came up to her seat to merely to say “hello.” Although Mr Murthy’s wife, Sudha Murthy, tried to defend Kareena, this did not deter him from continuing to speak out.

“The other day I was coming from London, and next to me was Kareena Kapoor, sitting in her seat. So many people came to her and said hello. She didn’t even bother to react,” said Narayana Murthy.
“I was a little bit surprised. Whoever came to me, I stood up, and we discussed for a minute or half a minute-that’s all they were expecting,” Narayana Murthy pointed out.
Narayana Murthy’s daughter, Akshata, is married to British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
