The child was stuck at around 20-25 feet below the ground level in the borewell alongside a thick steel pipe. Cries of the child can be heard in the video as the soldiers gently lift him out of the very narrow space in the borewell taking great care that he does not bang against the pipe.
The Army team, accompanied by a doctor, then rushed the child to a hospital where he is stated to be out of danger.
The incident took place around 8 pm on Tuesday when the boy, Shivam, was playing at a farm in Dudhapur village where his parents worked as labourers.
