Elephants are known to love water and enjoy showering by sucking water into their trunks and spraying it all over themselves. Afterwards, they often spray their skin with a protective coating of dust.</p>
<p>
They are also known to dig deep holes in riverbeds during dry seasons, effectively creating mini-waterholes that other species also use.</p>
