Hardik Pandya smashed a mighty six to take India to victory against Pakistan in a cliff-hanger Asia Cup match when six runs were required to win in the last three balls.
Hardik kept his nerves to put India back in the run chase with three boundaries in the penultimate over in his unbeaten 33 off 17 deliveries. The fight stretched to the wire as India lost Jadeja on the first ball of the last over, but Hardik rose to the occasion in his characteristic style.
It was Hardik’s day all the way as he took three wickets in the middle order, to restrict Pakistan to a modest total of 147.
