A video showing a kingfisher stuck on a frozen pipe amid the harsh winter this year being rescued by a good Samaritan is gaining traction on social media.

The video shared by actress Raveena Tandon shows the kingfisher desperately fluttering its wings and struggling to get free from the frozen pipe but it is unable to do so.
A kind-hearted passerby then stops and gently rests his warm hand on the bird’s legs and the pipe until the ice thaws. At the same time he tenderly handles the traumatised bird to calm it down.
Once the ice melts the good Samaritan lifts the Kingfisher and lets it fly away to freedom.
