"You will find them at the oddest possible places in monsoons. Be careful. Take help of trained personnel," says Indian Forest Service Susanta Nanda as he shares a video of a deadly cobra inside a shoe.
The video begins with a woman snake expert using a rescue rod to tap a shoe in which a deadly Cobra has taken shelter from the rain.
Within seconds, an angry cobra raises its head from the shoe and is ready to strike. But the expert from the forest department deftly handles the situation with the rod and lifts it up in the air.
She advises people to tap any shoe before wearing it as in the rainy season snakes and scorpions can be hiding in them, especially during the monsoon.
