Watch: Dare-devil feat to rescue man from deep crevice on Mount Everest

The video of a dare-devil mission to rescue a sherpa who has fallen into a deep crevice on Mount Everest and is precariously perched on a narrow ledge has been posted on social media.

The short clip brings out the bravery and skill of the rescuer who rises to the occasion in rescuing the sherpa from the jaws of death.

Gesman Tamang, a leading mountaineer and rescuer, posted the video while highlighting the fact that the stories of these unknown local sherpas who form the backbone of the mountaineering expeditions go unnoticed as the media focuses on foreigners reaching the summit of the world’s highest peak.
