Watch: Cows invade pitch as cricket match is in full swing

A video showing cows invading a well-fenced cricket ground while a match is in full swing has gone viral on social media.

The players and umpires are taken by surprise as the three cows saunter in and start making their way to the pitch. One of the players then moves up and waves his bat to shoo them away with the umpires joining in to lend a helping hand. The commentators, too, are quite puzzled as the three cows suddenly show up. However, the spectators have cause to cheer and enjoy a good laugh over the uninvited visitors!
