WATCH: Brave Railway staffer jumps on to tracks and saves man from being crushed under speeding train

A courageous railway staffer saved the life of a man who had fallen on the tracks just seconds before a speeding train went through the spot.</p>

A video shows the railway pointsman sprinting towards the spot and jumping on to the tracks and lifting the man to safety in one fell swoop just split seconds before the train rushes past.</p>

The Railway Ministry shared the CCTV footage of the incident and tweeted:</p>

"A precious life was saved by the courageous act of help by on-duty staff, who jumped on tracks himself to save a person from getting gravely injured."</p>
<p>
However, the railway station was not identified.</p>
