Watch: Brave Punjab police dog Simmy wins battle against cancer and is back on duty

A brave Labrador Simmy has won the battle against cancer and reported back on duty with the dog squad of the Punjab Police bringing much cheer to the force.

News agency ANI shared a video showing the Labrador dog sniffing around a field along with a police officer. The member of the Punjab Police Canine squad appeared to be quite healthy and agile.

Dogs form part of the canine squad of police and security forces and are a great asset for these organisations. Because of their strong sense of smell they are trained to detect explosives, contraband and help in investigating crime.
