Odisha’s Forest and Fire Departments were praised for their quick thinking and prompt action in saving a leopard which fell in a deep well and was unable to come out.

The incident took place in Sambalpur district where the Forest officials came to know about this stranded animal in the well. According to Fire Officer Mishra Kishan, when the Forest staff got in touch with them, they reached the spot and used a wooden ladder to rescue the leopard.
The footage shows the leopard move on to the ladder and then climbing it and escaping in the bushes nearby.
Twitter users praised the quick thinking on part of officials and also the leopard smartness on using the ladder!
