Viral Video: Brazilian Armadillo keeps warm in unique style during heavy snow

Padma Shri and National Film award winner and well-known filmmaker Nila Madhab Panda, has posted a video which shows an animal quickly rolling itself into a ball. With the cold wave sweeping across northern India, the director aptly captioned his post as: “Okay. Wake me up once winter is gone.”

While the name of the animal is not mentioned in the post it is Brazilian three-banded armadillo which primarily lives in open savannahs and dry woodlands.

The armadillo rolls us to defend itself when it is threatened by its predators.
