A viral video shows a dog resting on a mud road near a village when suddenly a leopard appears from the dense undergrowth and tries to pounce on it. The dog gets up immediately and instead of fleeing in fright stands up and holds his ground to take on the leopard.
The wild beast appears to be taken by surprise at the fight that the dog is putting up and realises that it cannot make an easy killing.
Clearly, the dog turns out to be the winner as the leopard decides to retreat back into the thicket from where it emerged.
Wildlife experts are of the view that had the dog run the leopard would have definitely killed it. Being brave and putting up a fight helped the dog to survive.
