Video: Umran Malik clocks 155 kmph as India wins thriller against Sri Lanka

Pace sensation Umran Malik clocked a speed of 155 kmph as India beat Sri Lanka by just two runs in the first T20 international played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday.

While debutant Shivam Mavi played a stellar role in the host team’s thrilling triumph with four wickets, ‘Jammu Express’ Malik grabbed the headlines for bowling what is being dubbed as the fastest ball bowled by an Indian bowler.

Bowling his last over, Malik dismissed Lankan batsman Dasun Shanaka with a delivery that clocked 155 kmph on the speed gun.

The second T20I match between India and Sri Lanka will be played on Thursday.
