Video:  Smart driver escapes angry elephant on Karnataka forest road

Confronted with a precarious and dangerous situation, many lose their presence of mind. Yet some don’t and an example of this is evident in a video posted by Supriya Sahu, IAS.

Video:

Two people while driving in a jeep, meet face-to-face with a huge tusker which seems to be in a foul mood. The driver keeps his cool and reverses the vehicle while the elephant continues to pursue vigorously. Finally, the animal gives up and swerves to one side. The caption commends the driver and states that it is Kabini forest reserve in Karnataka which boasts of rich green vegetation and animals including elephants, tiger and black leopard.
