Video: Ronaldo weaves magic with 4 goals in league match

Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals in a row on Thursday for Al Nassr to defeat Al Wehda in the Saudi league on Thursday as he passed the 500 league goal mark in his club career. The 38-year-old Portuguese football legend is reported to have been hired by Al Nassr for a whopping 400 million euros to promote football in Saudi Arabia after his acrimonious parting of ways with Manchester United. Ronaldo now has a tally of  503 goals across five leagues to his credit.

There has been a fresh surge in the popularity of the game in Saudi Arabia after their team pulled off a surprise 2-1 victory over Argentina, the eventual winders of the World Cup, a league match of the FIFA tournament in Nov 2022.
