Video: Pant dives to take brilliant relay catch as ball falls out of Kohli’s hands in Test

India wicketkeeper Rishab Pant dived to bring off a brilliant relay catch after the ball fell out of Virat Kohli hands in the slips during the Test match vs Bangladesh. Pant dived to his left and juggled the ball once before grabbing it with both hands. The incident took place in the 47th over of the Bangladesh innings when Najmul Hossain Shanto edged Umesh Yadav’s delivery to first slip.

Pant in a lightning move pounced on the ball to dismiss Shanto who was batting on 64, and broke his 124-run partnership with Zakir Hasan.

Captain KL Rahul is seen heaving a sigh of relief after Pant’s catch.

India has scored a massive 553 runs total in the first innings.
