Video of Taliban beheading female mannequins goes viral

A video showing the Taliban militants sawing off the plastic heads of female mannequins has gone viral on the social media. The garment shop is believed to be in Afghanistan’s Herat province and one can hear the men laughing and saying “Allahu Akbar”.

If massacring of our people for past 25 years was not enough, Taliban 2.0 are now also beheading mannequins because they "offend #Islam." #DoNotRecogniseTalibanpic.twitter.com/4y2nCy5T6D@natiqmalikzada

The Taliban rule in Afghanistan continues to amaze not just their citizens but also the world at large. Having imposed several restrictions on women, now they have turned their attention to female mannequins.

Incidentally, in some places the Taliban have insisted on covering the female mannequin faces with a garbage plastic bag and the same has been ordered for the male ones too!

Across the country mannequins are beheaded or put a garbage plastic on their heads at the order of taliban 2.0. Coincidentally, the concerned mannequins are "female" mannequins .
Is 1+1=2? Answer is YES!#DoNotRecogniseTaliban pic.twitter.com/brbq6SxaMl

The reason given by Taliban for these acts is that mannequins “offend” Islam.
