Video: Endangered giant sawfish ends up dead in Karnataka fishing nets

An extremely rare and endangered sawfish was caught in fishing nets in Karnataka’s coastal town of Malpe on Thursday.</p>

A video showing the giant fish’s carcass being lifted by a crane and carried away, as the local fisherman watch in awe,  has been widely shared on social media.</p>
