Video: Brave cop leaps to save teenager from being crushed under train in Thane

<p>
A brave Maharashtra policeman risked his own life to save a teenager from being crushed under a train in the Thane district of Maharashtra on Wednesday. The video shows the policeman leaping onto the railway track and carrying the boy off the track in one fluent motion merely seconds before the train passes the spot.</p>

The boy had deliberately jumped onto the middle of the track when the train was approaching.</p>

A video of the incident shared by news agency ANI, shows the boy standing on the edge of the railway platform. While the policeman appears to be warning the boy of the imminent danger. However, the teenager suddenly jumps onto the track in front of the train.  Fortunately, the policeman’s quick reflexes averted what would have been a horrible tragedy. </p>
