Uncensored Video: Hollywood star Will Smith punches Oscar presenter

The fine line between a joke and jest at someone’s expense was crossed at the 2022 Oscar telecast. Popular Hollywood star Will Smith took the stage to punch presenter Chris Rock about a joke he made at the expense of Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.</p>

On the stage for presenting the Best Documentary Feature at the 94<sup>th</sup> Academy Awards, Rock joked about Jada Pinkett being in “G.I. Jane” because of her shaved head. Smith stormed on the stage to slap Rock and moving back to his seat told him twice to keep his wife “out of his f**ing mouth”.</p>

Alopecia, an autoimmune disorder has caused Smith’s wife appearance which results in hair loss.</p>
<p>
Smith who later went on to win the Oscar for the Best Actor for his performance in “King Richard”, apologised to the Academy and others.</p>
