NRRS is one of the busiest rail stations in the suburban network of the twin cities – Hyderabad and Secunderabad — having lots of picnic spots around its vicinity. For this purpose, an unused coach was completely refurbished with modern and aesthetic interiors.

The multi-cuisine restaurant has been opened at the vacant space in the circulating area of NRRS and it will cater to both the rail passengers as well as the common public. It offers both dine-in and take away facilities to the customers. “To cater to the needs of the large number of people who visit this place and its vicinity, the restaurant will be kept open all days from 12.30 p.m. to 11 p.m.,” the SCR official informed IN.

The operation of this outlet has been awarded to M/s. Boomerang Restaurant, Hyderabad for a period of five years. Highlighting the strict hygiene standards that will be maintained at the outlet, the official told India Narrative “the contractor has obtained Food Safety and Standards Authority of India licence.” He added: “Frequent checks will be conducted to ensure hygiene and quality.”
