Telangana has got its first coach restaurant at a railway station. The restaurant on wheels has been started by South Central Railway’s Hyderabad Division at Kacheguda station.
This eating outlet will provide the passengers, general people and food connoisseurs a unique dining experience. To provide the users of Kacheguda railway station, one of the busiest terminals – more options of food, the authorities have used two heritage coaches and refurbished them with aesthetic interiors.
The coaches, now converted into a restaurant, offer people to choose from a wide variety of food items. The outlet offers multiple cuisines, including, North Indian, South Indian, Mughlai, Chinese, Italian, etc.
The outlet has been awarded to M/s. Pariwar’s Have More, Secunderabad for a period of five years.
The coach restaurant situated at the main entrance of the Kacheguda railway station is accessible to passengers, commuters and general public and will provide hygienic and quality food and beverages round-the-clock.
Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR complimented the Hyderabad Division officers and staff for providing a good passenger amenity at Kacheguda railway station by utilising the heritage coaches.
