In a bizarre incident, a boy from Telangana bought his dream sports bike with his savings of 1-rupee coins which added up to as many as 112 bags over the years.

Venkatesh is a polytechnic student who lives at Ramakrishnapur in Mancherial district headquarters of Telangana.

He took the bike showroom staff by surprise as he entered with 112 bags, containing 1-rupee coins. Initially, the showroom staff hesitated to take such a large number of coins but later were taken in by his passion for the bike and agreed to sell him the product.

It took them about half the dayto count the coins worth Rs.2.85 lakh for the payment of the sports bike.
