Tamil Nadu youngster buys a bike with Rs.2.6 lakh in one-rupee coins!

Boopathi, a young man from Salem, Tamil Nadu turned purchasing a bike an interesting affair for himself, the dealer he purchased it from and also for the social media, who got to see the whole episode on YouTube.</p>

Adhering to the adage that small drops make an ocean, Boopathi keen on buying his dream bike saved all the change he could and finally collected Rs.2.6 lakh in one-rupee coins and now he was set to buy a brand new Bajaj Dominar 400.</p>
<p>
The task of saving this amount took him three years.</p>
<p>
With money not just in his pocket but literally in sacks, he contacted the dealers who had the bike and landed up in one showroom where the staff took 10 hours to count the cash!</p>

Making the whole thing interesting, Boopathi shot the whole incident from loading the coins to a jeep tempo to landing at the showroom to counting and then finally getting the keys of the gleaming green coloured bike much to the amusement and awe of the viewers.</p>

Twitter viewers admired his determination while some made fun and said that it was because of people like Bhoopati there was a shortage of change and that everyone was receiving toffees as a substitute for change!</p>
