SRK injured in accident on film set in US

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was injured in an accident while shooting for a film in Los Angeles and had to undergo a minor surgery at a nearby hospital, according to a report in ETimes.

The mishap took place on the sets of the film and SRK sustained a nose injury that led to profuse bleeding. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment by his team members.

The actor was seen with a bandaged nose after undergoing treatment and is now back at his residence Mannat in Mumbai for convalescence.

The report said that doctors had told SRK’s team that the injury was not serious and there was nothing to worry about.

On the work front SRK’s career graph soared this year with the blockbuster Pathaan raking in Rs 1000 crore at the boxoffice. He will be seen next in Atlee’s Jawan with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Shah Rukh Khan will also star in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, co-starring Taapsee Pannu, which is also scheduled for release this year.
