Rescheduled start for Gujarat Giants vs Mumbai Indians WPL opener tonight

The Women’s Premier League opening fixture between the Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians at the D Y Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will have a rescheduled start.

According to the BCCI, the marquee clash will commence at 8 PM IST on Saturday with the toss taking place at 7.30 PM.

The gates will open for fans at 4 PM and they will be able to witness the grand opening ceremony which will start at 6:25 PM.


Adding glitz and glamour to the tournament opener will be Bollywood stars Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon.

To top it all, singer-songwriter AP Dhillon will be performing some of his musical chartbusters on-stage that is bound to leave the audience enthralled.

Gates Open: 4 PM
Opening Ceremony: 6:25 PM
