Rare video: Ferocious crocodile attacks baby elephant and then…

The video of a mother elephant going on the warpath as a ferocious crocodile attacks her baby has gone viral on social media.

The video shows the elephant bringing the little baby to a muddy pond to splash around. But just as the baby elephant starts playing in the pool, a crocodile lying under the water suddenly launches an attack. The mother elephant instantly flies into a rage and goes into a counter attack. She tries to trample the crocodile who manages to get out of the pond and make good its escape.

Facebook user Dhananjaya Naranbadda posted the rare video which was shot from a car in a wildlife park.
