In a rare informal photograph that has now gone viral on social media, Saudi Crown Prince, Qatar's Emir and a top UAE security official have been pictured meeting at the Red Sea for a "brotherly gathering" Friday.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani and UAE National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed were pictured dressed casually and enjoying a laugh as they posed for the camera.
Badr Al Asaker, head of the Private Office of the Saudi Crown Prince, published the photo of the three officials on his Twitter page.

"A friendly and brotherly meeting in the Red Sea brings together Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, and the UAE National Security Adviser in the UAE, Sheikh Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nahyan," wrote Asaker.
Even though they may have met informally, analysts believe that the gathering assumes significance given the current geopolitical scenario in the region.
