There is good news for the devotees of Lord Shri Ram as the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has announced another stop in Shri Ramayana Yatra train. It will now on its return from Rameswaram to New Delhi stop at Bhadrachalam Road railway station.
The Ramayana Yatra train started on November 7 from the Safdarjung railway station and this Dekho Apna Desh Deluxe air-conditioned tourist train goes up to Rameswaram and returns to New Delhi. Along both to and fro journey, the journey includes important destinations associated with the life of Lord Shri Ram.
The addition of Bhadrachalam in Telangana is significant as this holy town is known for the most crucial temple related to Lord Sri Ram’s life, located on the bank of the Godavari river, namely the Lord Sree Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple.
Some of the key tourist attractions on the Ramayana Yatra route are Ram Janam Bhoomi Temple, Hanuman Garhi, Janaki Mandir at Sitamarhi, Bharat Kund, Punaura Dham, Sankat Mochan temple, Shringe Rishi Samadhi and Shanta Devi Temple, Gupta Godawari, Ramghat, Ram Chaura, Bharat Milap temple, Trayambkeshwar temple, Sati Anusuiya temple, among others.
