Mother Monkey makes bridge to move baby across two trees

A mother will stretch herself to any extent to help her offspring and this is precisely what a viral video posted by Susanta Nanda, an Indian Forest Officer on Twitter shows.

Video:

The mother monkey, wanting to move from one tree to the other, swings and forms a kind of a bridge between the two by holding on to their branches. While the viewer wonders why she is doing it, you see her small baby climb and hold on to her tightly. Then she lets go one branch and moves deftly to the other tree. Note the way she uses her long tail to provide her balance and grip till the end.
