Messi and his men return home to heroes’ welcome after World Cup victory

The Lionel Messi-led Argentina FIFA World Cup-winning team reached home to a rousing welcome by thousands of ecstatic football fans.

There was an open bus parade for the world champions in the capital Buenos Aires, where Lionel Messi and his triumphant teammates displayed the trophy to the jubilant crowds.

Argentina won their third World Cup title on Sunday night after beating defending champions France in what has been termed as the best final ever.
