India’s first Jurassic Park with dinosaurs in action inaugurated in Telangana

Siddipet district’s Komati Cheruvu town continues to grab headlines as a major tourist destination offering several attractions. Now, the place has added another feather in its cap by starting India’s first Jurassic Park.

The park built at a cost of Rs.5 crore has come up due to the efforts of T. Harish Rao, Telangana’s Finance and Health Minister. Designed meticulously it will now be a major attraction for visitors as it offers thrilling adventure to them as they can see these ancient giants gone extinct.

The theme park features lifelike and moving dinosaurs. The dinosaur museum located in Rayoli in Gujarat’s Mahisagar district – where the eggs of these creatures were discovered – has one dinosaur which moves and produces sounds. At Komati Cheruvu Park, there are 18 lifelike, moving dinosaurs, along with five static replicas.

Sharing details of the park, B. Ravindra Chari an official of Komati Cheruvu said it will become India’s best and largest dinosaur park in the country. The destination has a sprawling cave which has been constructed artfully, a 240-metre mini-track on which train runs taking the visitors around the park enabling them to see the dinosaurs in action, thus providing them an immersive experience.

This special train has three bogies, with seating for six passengers in each.

Apart from this, the park also boasts of a design that allows the guests to not only see but also hear the dinosaurs roar and cry. To provide a touch a realism to the whole, on display are dinosaur skeletons and their eggs, all crafted using silicon technology.

Elaborating on these features, Chari said the dinosaurs move about freely within the park’s confines, bellowing loudly. The train ride he said lasts from eight to 10 minutes and is packed with surprises.

Komati Cheruvu also has a rock garden, glow garden and an adventure park.
