<p>
<strong>An ice sculpture replica of the Taj Mahal has been installed in Sukhbaatar Square of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, to mark the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations being held as the countdown to the 75th anniversary of India&#39;s independence in August 2022.</strong></p>
<p>
The location of the ice sculpture is not very far from the Selbe River, the National University of Mongolia and the Embassy of India in Ulaanbaatar.<br />
&nbsp;<br />
The sculpture will remain on display until February 2022 with the embassy also announcing a &#39;selfie with Taj&#39; contest to promote tourism.&nbsp;</p>

Earlier, the Indian embassy had celebrated Makar Sankranti and Pongal with embassy officials and Mongolian friends.<br />
