Glittering Diwali Gold-plated sweet from Agra Costs Rs.30,000 Per Kg!

All that glitters is not gold but this one is gold and costs a bomb! We are talking about the Braj Rasayan Mishtan Bhandar in Agra, a sweet shop, which is selling something which is extremely valuable – the gold-plated sweets. If nothing else, it definitely is drawing crowds in throngs just to see these sweets.

The reason why many preferred catching a glimpse of it is because of its prohibitive price – the sweet is Rs 30,000 per kg, yet that has not deterred many to try and buy it.

The sweet has a special work done on it with gold and hence is expensive.

Talking about this sweet, the proprietor of the Bhandar, Umesh Kumar said: “A different demand from people is always there on the festival of Diwali. Whenever the customers visit our shop, they ask for a new and unique sweet on Diwali. So this time we have made these Diwali special gold sweets.”

Sharing details about what is unusual about this sweet, Kumar added: “The speciality of this sweet is that they are rich in dry fruits along with goldwork wrapped over it due to which the price of this sweet is very expensive. But despite being expensive, there is a trend among people and they are buying these sweets.”

According to reports, this sweet shop is offering two types of gold sweets for sale. One has a gold base while the another one has a gold peda inside it

Incidentally, the metal gold is said to have beneficial effects for the human body.

Though Agra is known for several sweet delicacies, this time it is the gold-plated sweets that are the star attraction of this city.
