G20 Summit Logo reflects India’s roots in sustainability, nature and Earth

The attractive, eye-catching and colourful logo of G20 Summit 2023 in India has several interesting aspects that reflects the country’s philosophy and ethos.

It draws inspiration from the Tricolour and the nation’s commitment to pro-planet living. The coming together of saffron, white, green and blue embodies India’s commitment to nature, its rich culture and its belief of considering the entire planet as one.

The logo shows Earth alongside the lotus, India’s national flower which symbolizes growth amid challenges while mirroring India’s resilience and determination. Presence of Earth shows India’s pro-planet approach to life, and its dedication to preserving the environment and living in harmony with nature.

The Bharat written under the logo in Devanagari script shows India’s cultural heritage.

The theme of India’s G20 Presidency Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam which means One Earth, One Family, One Future is drawn from the ancient Sanskrit text of the Maha Upanishad. It reiterates the intrinsic value of all life forms, including humans, animals, plants, and microorganisms.

By putting “LiFE” (Lifestyle for Environment) in the spotlight the logo promotes environmentally sustainable and responsible choices at both the individual and national levels.
