In an incredible incident, a County cricket match between Leicestershire and Sussex on Sunday, had to be stopped as a swarm of bees invaded the ground.
̶R̶a̶i̶n̶…̶B̶a̶d̶ ̶L̶i̶g̶h̶t̶…̶ 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐒 stop play??? 🤣
Not something I thought I’d be tweeting today. A swarm of bees force the players and umpires to hit the deck at Grace Road. 🐝
Ollie Robinson’s bowling spin too.
Just an average Sunday.

A video that has gone viral on social media shows that suddenly all the players and the umpires start lying down flat on the ground to avoid being stung by the bees hovering around in their vicinity.
India’s Cheteshwar Pujara was also playing in the match as he has been selected for the Sussex team.
