Caught on Camera: King Charles III angrily gesturing to aides at accession ceremony

Videos of an awkward moment at King Charles III accession ceremony have gone viral on social media as the UK monarch was caught on camera angrily gesturing to royal aides to remove a pen box and inkpot from the desk on which he was to sign the historic document of accession to the throne.

King Charles appeared quite annoyed as both a pen box and an inkpot were placed on the small desk leaving him little space to sign the big document that he had to sign on the desk.

There were varied reactions on social media to the incident. While some found the moment humorous, others were critical.

“Given the situation, I would be annoyed as well,” said a user.

“First day on the job and already he’s fed up. LOL,” wrote another.
