A leopard in Nashik attacked a pet dog

In a horrifying incident, a leopard entered a village in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, and attacked a pet dog.</p>

CCTV footage of the incident shows a black dog wearing a red collar sitting on the compound wall of a house. A leopard then appears and the dog runs for his life. But the wild beast outruns the dog and carries him away in his jaws.</p>

The video has been posted on Twitter by Pankaj Garg, Deputy Conservator of Forest, Nashik.</p>

&quot;We appeal to the people of Mungsare village to remain indoors at night as leopard activity has increased in this area. People must remain alert,&quot; news agency ANI cited Garg as saying.</p>
