Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has bought a luxury, sea-facing quadruplex apartment for a whopping Rs 119 crore in Mumbai’s posh Bandra Bandstand area.

The apartment comprises a 16th floor apartment and a triplex from the 17th to 19th floor at ‘Sagar Resham’ building is located between Shahrukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat and Salman Khan’s residence in Galaxy on the same sea-facing stretch.

The property, which has 19 car parking slots and a huge terrace, has been bought through Oh Five Oh Media Works LLP, a company in which both Ranveer and his father Jugjeet Sundersingh Bhavnani are directors. Real estate firm Enorm Nagpal Realty LLP is the seller.

Together, the apartments are sprawled across 11,266 sq ft of carpet area, with a 1300 sq ft terrace. The deal was concluded at just over ₹1 lakh per sq ft.

The transaction registered on July 8 entailed a stamp duty of ₹7.13 crore, according to documents accessed by real estate data portal Indextap.com.

“Bandra-Juhu belt has been the favourite among tinsel town. Therefore, we are not surprised by this transaction. The Bandstand location is especially the most sought after, with the likes of Superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, residing in the vicinity. Indextap foresees many more such high-end property deals being in the works and the luxury residential market to continue to perform well, despite fear of possible global recession," said Abhishek Kiran Gupta, CEO and co-founder, CRE Matrix and Indextap.
