Anand Mahindra gifts Neeraj Chopra an XUV700 on Twitter user’s suggestion!

Industrialist Anand Mahindra has gifted javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, who won India’s first ever Olympic athletics gold, a Mahindra XUV700, the latest SUV being produced by auto major Mahindra & Mahindra. </p>

The gift has come as a spontaneous response to a suggestion from a twitter user after Mahindra had tweeted a congratulatory message for India’s Olympic star.</p>

"We are all in your army, Baahubali," Mahindra tweeted, along with a grid photo showing the Olympian and the fantasy action film hero Baahubali. The context the message was linked to the fact that Neeraj Chopra is also a Subedar in the Indian Army.</p>

Then a Twitter user, Ritesh Jain, replied to Anand Mahindra saying that Mr Chopra should get the XUV700.</p>

Replying to Ritesh Jain, Anand Mahindra tagged two top executives of the auto giant and asked them to keep an XUV700 ready for Neeraj Chopra.</p>

"Yes, indeed. It will be my personal privilege and honour to gift our Golden Athlete an XUV7OO @rajesh664 @vijaynakra Keep one ready for him please," Mr Mahindra tweeted.</p>
