Screengrab from the video showing railway staff rescuing a dog whose hind leg was stuck between the tracks
Railway officials and staff go beyond their duty to help passengers, at times risking their lives to save others. Going beyond human beings, they also provide relief to animals as shown in a video posted by Arundhati Kirkire, a former Indian international cricketer.
Video:
The post is captioned “Railway staff” and shows a dog with one of its hind legs stuck between the tracks. On noticing its plight, the staff rushed to get crowbars with which they tried to create space between the tracks to enable the suffering animal to get out. The footage shows a train also approaching on that track. Finally, their efforts paid off and the dog escaped.
The post does not mention the place or the railway zone or station.
